Annette Brüls is a senior executive with more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, and she has been the CEO of Medela since 2018.

Medela is a global medical device company from Switzerland. It was founded in 1961 as a family company. Medela is still family-owned with Michael Larsson, the founder’s son, as the chairman of the board.

Annette Brüls is a non-family CEO in a family business, and also serves as a non-executive director on the board of Coloplast, a Danish medical device company.
