E134: Cardiac Complications Pt. 1

Tanner and Cole
About this episode

In today's episode, we delve into the intricate world of cardiovascular health. We will explore a myriad of complications spanning from within the heart itself to the peripheral vasculature. Our discussion will encompass various vascular diseases, such as carotid artery stenosis and abdominal aortic aneurysms. Throughout the episode, we will dissect the pathophysiology of these conditions, delve into surgical procedures, and examine how our anesthetic approach will be tailored accordingly.

Given the complexity and breadth of these topics, we have divided this episode into two parts. Join us next week as we continue our conversation on congestive heart failure, collapse, cardiac tamponade, and hypertension.
