About this episode

This week Lara and Michael sit down with Hala Hanina a  Palestinian activist, a 4th-generation Palestinian refugee from Gaza Palestine. She is a dentist and PhD researcher in sociology. She has experience volunteering in hospitals during previous Israeli bombardments. We hear from Hana about how 5 generations of her family has suffered under Zionism. From her great-grandfather experiencing the 1948 Nakba, all the way up until her family home was destroyed in the 2023/24 Nakba.
