Episode 44: Just as Cain was jealous of Abel's approval by God, so now Miriam and Aaron are jealous of Moses and the position he has before God. Though they spoke these complaints in secret, God heard every word of it, and He made it known to all. He gave an open rebuke to Miriam and Aaron for their actions, and Miriam was sentenced to live outside of the camp for a period of seven days.
