About this episode

In this episode, Dr. Natasha Poulopoulos, a Psychologist, Educator and Advocator, explores how both parents and professionals can support transgender youth. Transgender youth experience increased rates of bullying, discrimination, and social rejection. Consequently, compared to their cisgender peers, they face disproportionately higher rates of mental health disparities. Notably, adult support serves as a significant protective factor for transgender youth. This episode is packed with knowledge, tools, and strategies to help nurture and support transgender youth.
