Il generale Hemedti vendeva l’oro a Prigozhin e ora lo vende ai servizi segreti militari di Mosca. Ha le mani sulle risorse e ormai controlla quattro dei cinque stati del Darfur, nel sud ovest del Sudan. E lì, a El Geneine, nel 2023 i suoi uomini hanno ucciso tra le 10 mila e le 15 mila persone: fucilate perché etnicamente africane in un Paese etnicamente arabo. Lo scrivono gli esperti delle Nazioni Uniti nel loro rapporto appena pubblicato. Gli uomini di Hemedti sono gli eredi dei responsabili del massacro di 300 mila persone in Darfur all’inizio degli anni Duemila. Ora il loro capo viaggia all’estero e si comporta come il vincitore della guerra cominciata il 15 aprile in Sudan.
