Salomon va recevoir la visite prestigieuse d’une souveraine étrangère, intriguée par la renommée du roi : la reine de Saba (ou Seba). 

Maintenant que le Temple et le palais royal sont édifiés à Jérusalem, Dieu va apparaitre une seconde fois au roi Salomon. 

Salomon va inaugurer le Temple. Il va adresser à Dieu une liste de 7 pardons ou bénédictions pour que l'Éternel pardonne Israël depuis ce Saint lieu.
