Benevolence in the Face of Brutality

Uzma Jafri
About this episode

Mariam Muhanna comes on today with experience both working and living as an expat in Gaza for several years prior to coming back to the United States. Hear about her day to day experiences and why she wants to go back. Also remember to pray for her many immediate family members who have been killed within the last 80 plus days. May Allah SWT reunite them all in Jannah (Heaven). Ameen.
We get some insight into how Gazans are deeply affected by any losses in a tight community, but it’s still unimaginable. It’s a crime to dehumanize this place and its population in the ways the media and those in power have done, and we’re more than humbled to have Palestinian voices on our podcast to affirm the humanity of all people. We’re pretty sure, like us, you’ll want to go there one day to feel the beauty of the land and its people. May it be a reality soon insha’Allah.
Tune in at 6pm EST on Apple podcasts, Stitcher, Google Play, or head over to our website landing page and click “Listen.”
