About this episode

Peter Mutabazi is an extraordinary man who has taken it upon himself to become a foster parent. Having childhood trauma of his own, Peter wanted to ensure children the foster care system had a safe and loving home while waiting to be unified with their parents. Rebecca and Peter discuss the tragic reality that many kids face in the foster care system, and how a program meant to help many kids is ultimately failing so many of them. This episode will cover some really heavy examples that will be hard to hear, but just as important to educate ourselves on.
