Daniel Kaluuya is an Academy Award-winning actor, first nominated for his groundbreaking role in "Get Out" and then for his portrayal of Fred Hampton in "Judas and the Black Messiah," which also earned him SAG, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations. Born in London, Kaluuya honed his skills in theater improvisation from a young age. He gained early fame starring in and writing for the popular British teen series "Skins." His journey through the entertainment world has gone from sketch comedy and short films to notable performances in "Sucker Punch" and "Black Mirror." In 2023, he made his directorial debut with the dystopian thriller, “The Kitchen.”
Collaborating with directors like Jordan Peele in "Get Out," Ryan Coogler in "Black Panther," Steve McQueen in "Widows," and Melina Matsoukas and Lena Waithe in "Queen & Slim," Kaluuya has solidified his status as a multifaceted actor, writer, and director.
