(Hour 1 with Cook and Joe)
The Steelers won over the weekend and had some help to make their playoff chances even greater. Ron goes over some scenarios in which the Steelers need to happen for them to make the playoffs. It all comes down to the Steelers winning both of their remaining games. The Steelers need to handle their business before worrying about anything else happening. Also a random sports bettor won nearly $500K on a 14 leg parlay.
Kenny or Mason? If Kenny is healthy, do you start him? Peter King joins the show to discuss the topic. He thinks that Mike Tomlin will go back to Pickett if he is healthy. George Pickens was fabulous in the game, which is what the Steelers expected him to be. However, King did not like Pickens' reaction. It was never about questioning his talent, it was about questioning his work ethic, especially his blocking. The Steelers are fighting for their playoff lives going into Seattle.
King reminds us that Seattle is in the same fight in the NFC. He expects an even fight this weekend. If it comes down to the final week, he thinks it is possible the Ravens rest their starters. He also thinks the Steelers could be a "tough out" in the playoffs if they make it and if they play competently offensively. Also of note: he believes Week 18 will be Derrick Henry's last game with the Titans.
