FRIDAY AKA GGB DAY ♡
hi our loves!!! we missed you.
this week we talk about THE WAITING SEASON.
God gave you a promise... but he's making you wait for it to come to pass. we know it's hard. but you're not alone in the waiting. it's common. it's necessary. and God's timing is absolutely perfect. we PROMISE!
we read about Abraham and Sarah's journey with having their son, Isaac, in Genesis 15-21.
we discuss how crucial it is not just to wait on God, but to wait well. to wait patiently and expectant of God's faithfulness to fulfill His promise. we talk about how going outside of God's will (kinda like the way Sarah did when she didn't believe God would give her a son of her own so she offered her maidservant to her husband to have a baby by...) will always result in a major lack of peace and often times a massive mess. but hallelujahhhh we serve a God who proves His promise in Romans 8:28 to be true every time. He will not only clean up our mess.. but even bless our mistakes (like He blessed the life of Hagar's son, Ishmael)
