E131: Missy Beers, Part 2: A Master Clas...

Garth Neufeld, Eric Landrum
About this episode

In this episode Eric interviews Missy Beers from the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. In this return to the PsychSessions, Missy tells an updated story of her life, poignantly relating how her life completely changed when her husband Randy unexpectedly died in Dec. 2019. Missy shares her stories about grief, compassion, and coping, and how these experiences have changed many of her views as an educator. We discuss what can help individuals who are suffering, and how we sometimes dehumanize others.
