When the Bender Family moves west to open a tavern and inn along the Osage Trail in southeastern Kansas, the people of nearby Cherryvale are at first unaware of the diabolical plans this mysterious family is cooking up behind closed doors. The intoxicatingly beautiful daughter Kate uses her sex appeal, charm, and rumored supernatural powers to lure westward bound homesteaders back to her family's little house on the prairie, where the family commit a series of ghastly crimes together. And they get away with it. It seems that way out in the Old West, no one can hear you scream.
