A four-day truce in the Israel-Hamas war took effect early Friday in order to secure the release of the first set of terrorist held hostages. There were thirteen women and children released in a deal that will set free up to fifty hostages being held. Israel's end of the deal, besides not carrying out any military operations, is to release nearly forty Palestinian prisoners from Ofer Prison, in the West Bank.
