VAMOS with Herc Gomez and guest, Ilie Sa...

MEN IN BLAZERS | WONDERY
About this episode

"Gareth Bale knew who I was before I introduced myself (...) He knew the place he was joining, what his role was going to be and he made us feel that since day one".

Herc had a candid chat with Ilie Sanchez, LAFC's midfielder. A guy who knows what he wants, and knows how to say it. Ilie talked about his childhood in 'La Masia', the acclaimed academy of FC Barcelona, and what motivated him to explore life abroad in the United States. He also shared about his journey in the MLS, starting from his arrival in Kansas City to his latest experiences in Los Angeles. Plus, Herc shared his thoughts on the idea of implementing a salary cap on European soccer leagues.
