S2 Ep3: Dirk Kuyt

Liverpool FC
About this episode
On 20th October 2007, Dirk Kuyt wrote himself into LFC folklore…but his Liverpool story could have been so much different.
Kuyt’s match-winning penalties at Goodison Park are just one of many significant moments the Dutchman had in a red shirt, but as he revealed when he joined us, another teammate was designated for spot-kicks that day.
Our former No.18 relives his six-year spell at Anfield from the moment Rafa Benitez called to request his services, to the tough decision he had to take when it came time to say goodbye.
We also learn where his famous hard-work ethic came from, the added significance behind that goal against Inter Milan and how he played a role in bringing Luis Suarez to L4.
