Selon une enquête Statista datant de 2018, 22% des Français disent s’être connectés sur une appli de rencontre sur l’année. Elles font partie de la vie quotidienne de nombreux célibataires. La recherche de l’âme sœur est omniprésente dans nos sociétés occidentales, à tel point que plusieurs stratégies sont mises en place pour mettre toutes les chances de son côté.

C’est le cas du serendipidating. Une nouvelle tendance, descendante directe du ghosting, qui consiste à repousser sans cesse le premier rendez-vous amoureux dans l’espoir de trouver un meilleur partenaire.
