ADHDAF meets The ADHD Women's Wellbeing ...

About this episode

Connection and community... it's always better together, right?

This week's guests are brilliant Laura & Dawn from the ADHD AF Podcast. Laura and Dawn moved to the same street, at the same time, at the same age, with the same undiagnosed difference. On discovering the enormous impact that ADHD has had on their lives and the horrifying number of mis and undiagnosed ADHDers like them, they partnered up to use their voices to raise awareness, break the stigma, and to share their experiences in the hope of helping others.

We decided to join together this week for a special ADHD Awareness month 'podswap'. I was also on their brilliant podcast this week - listen here.

I was delighted to finally sit down and chat with Laura and Dawn from ADHD AF Podcast, and this is what we talked about:

  • The "Too much" tour the ADHDAF ladies did this past summer
  • Trusting the serendipity of your life
  • Why Dawn and Laura are advocating for being "too much"
  • Being truthful about what is too much for you to take on
  • Dealing with S.A.D
  • Comorbidities of ADHD
  • Self-trust, self-doubt and ADHD
  • Struggling to have a "regular" job because of ADHD symptoms
  • Working authentically and listening to our intuition
  • The power of the ADHD community
