Unsinkable: Killers of the Flower Moon

L.A. Beadles
About this episode

The Unsinkable side series of sorts strikes again. Join me for a look into Martin Scorsese's brilliant new historical epic--forty-five minutes in which I somehow manage to forget to even mention Robert DeNiro's name. (Cue me with head shaking in hands.) But I do spend some time unpacking the story of the tragic Osage killings in the early twentieth century, why this movie and the book its based on are doing crucial work in rewriting the narrative of American history, and (shocked?) Leonardo DiCaprio's brilliant and frightening turn as one of the killing culture's perpetrators.
