Tributes Continue For Sir Bobby Charlton

Talksport
About this episode

The tributes continued to pour in for footballing legend Sir Bobby Charlton over the weekend. On the Sunday Edition, Henry Winter and Shaun Custis were joined by former Spurs and England Midfielder Alan Mullery who explained how Charlton was one of the greatest footballers of all time. Sir Bobby's former Manchester United team mate Lou Macari discussed how he was the perfect footballer on the Weekend Sports Breakfast alongside Natalie Sawyer and Tony Cascarino. We also hear from Adrian Durham, Alan Pardew and Danny Kelly reflecting on the impact he had on fellow professionals across the world.

Elsewhere in the podcast, we look back at the weekend's Premier League action so far, with Aston Villa maintaining their impressive home form with a big win over West Ham at Villa Park yesterday. We look ahead to tonight's game between Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham, which is live and exclusive on talkSPORT. We hear from both managers Ange Postecoglou and Marco Silva, plus in form midfielder James Maddison talking about his impressive start to the season. Finally, we also take a look back at England's narrow defeat to South Africa in the Rugby World Cup Semi Final in Paris. Captain Owen Farrell and coach Steve Borthwick believe that England can be proud of their performance on Saturday night despite the result.
