#178: Coping with Crisis in an Emotional...

Mary Jelkovsky
About this episode

In an age of information overload and devastating crises unfolding before our eyes, the importance of critical thinking and emotional regulation can not be understated. We must remain grounded and informed in the face of overwhelming news, opinions, and emotions. Tune in to learn Mary’s 5-step process for coping with crisis.

Note: This episode is not about political commentary. Rather, its focus is on sharing tools for processing horrific information on the internet so that you can remain physically and emotionally healthy even in the midst of intense crisis. While acknowledging the importance of humanitarian issues and social justice, this podcast is focused on self-love as a means to maintain personal well-being during challenging times.

Remember: it’s good to care about global, humanitarian issues but don’t let it come at the expense of your own humanity and well-being.
