Pat McAfee, ESPN
About this episode

On today's show, Pat, AJ Hawk, and the boys are live from the Texas State Fair in Dallas ahead of the Red River Rivalry game between Oklahoma and Texas. They chat about the Bears winning last night in dominating fashion, if that's enough to get them turned around, if we should be worried about Ron Rivera and the Commanders, and everything else happening around the NFL before they preview every game and make their picks for week 5. Joining the progrum to chat about last night's game and highlight some of the more intriguing matchups this weekend before making his picks is 3x Super Bowl Champion, former GM of the Cleveland Browns, host of the Lombardi Line and GM Shuffle podcast, and NY Times best selling author, Michael Lombardi (25:18-46:14). Next, Heisman Trophy winner, #1 pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, and current Quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baker Mayfield joins the progrum LIVE on set to chat about what happened in Cleveland, why he's so happy to be in Tampa, if he's playing the best football of his life right now, if he and Odell Beckham have patched things up, why he's so excited for this season, and more (1:12:51-1:34:07). Later, host of College GameDay for both football and basketball, Rece Davis joins the show to chat about the college football landscape, how special this venue is, his AP top 25 vote, where he see's the rest of the season going, the parody in college football, and more (1:52:42-2:17:56). Make sure you subscribe to youtube.com/thepatmcafeeshow to watch the show. Or watch on ESPN (12-2 EDT), ESPN’s Youtube (12-3 EDT), or ESPN+. We appreciate the hell out of all of you. We'll be doing a MegaCast of the Red River Rivalry game tomorrow on ESPN 2 right after College GameDay. We'll see for Overreaction Monday. Cheers.
