About this episode

This week the team (minus Betty who is on other sporting duties) head to an industrial estate in east London for a day of karting. However, a lot of the other teams have taken the event far too seriously and are wearing their own kit and have enrolled professional drivers. With Team Principal Greg also out of action after putting his back out, it's a big day for Christian to prove himself on the track.

They're joined by a reserve driver who also loves talking about cars for a living on what he calls “the broadest church of automotive appreciation”, from finding classic cars in barns to the future of motoring; Jonny Smith from The Late Brake Show (aka The Car Pervert).

With an actual F1 race this weekend there's also time to preview the Qatar Grand Prix, discuss the probability of a new team joining the grid and answer listener questions about the origins of Formula One and Red Bull's human barriers.

As always, we want you to be part of the show, too. Send any questions for the drivers or the team to fastandcurious@acast.com. You can also find us on TikTok and Instagram (@fastcuriouspod). Keep an eye out for live Q&As, race watch-a-longs and general behind-the-scenes action.
