On l’appelle le tueur invisible. C’est la plus grande menace environnementale pour la santé, on la connaît bien. On l'ignore souvent. La pollution de l’air. Un poison qui s’installe dans nos poumons, particulièrement dans ceux des enfants. Plus d’1 million développent de l’asthme au Royaume-Uni. Une maladie aggravée par la pollution liée aux émissions de nos véhicules ou encore au chauffage au bois.

Un projet de loi actuellement discuté au Parlement britannique propose de faire de l’air pur un droit. S’il est voté, on l’appellerait la loi Ella. En hommage à une petite fille décédée après une grave crise d’asthme.
