A New York judge says former President Trump and his oldest sons are liable for fraud after providing false financial statements for roughly a decade. The judge's decision comes days before the former president and the New York attorney general's office is set to go to court for a civil trial. Trump has argued he didn't inflate the values of his golf courses, hotels and homes at Mar-a-Lago and Seven Springs on financial statements that were repeatedly used in business. Plus, Senate leaders have reached a bipartisan deal for a short-term spending bill to keep the government funded and avoid a shutdown.
