About this episode

Am I saving enough? Will I have the money I need to retire? Is it okay to spend money on traveling and having fun? Am I being irresponsible with my finances? How do I really know if I’m doing well financially? This episode was inspired by a listener question from Lizbeth, who sent me this message, “Shannah, I feel like I’m in a bit of a tailspin. I know you always say that making different money decisions depends on your goals. And I’ve learned so much from this show and from your honesty about money over the last few years. But I’m in a weird space. I just don't know how I’m doing financially. I know I shouldn’t care about how well I stack up, and I’m trying my best, but it just feels like I’m alone out here making money decisions that I don’t know if they are right or not. Can you give me any pointers on how to know if I’m doing ok financially?”
