In this episode of Heaven & Healing Podcast, I welcome back my sister in Christ, Naela Rose (@undone_by_grace) for the SECOND time! In this conversation, Naela gives an update on her testimony — how she went from the extreme of New Age, to the extreme of dead religion, to the extreme of hyper-charismatic deliverance-mania, to now, where the Lord has brought her to balanced narrow road. We discuss the similarities of our sanctification — traversing from the far lefts and far rights of Christianity — to arriving at biblical equilibrium, as we continue to mature on our walks with Jesus. In this conversation, we: 1) Share how deliverance truly WAS a necessity for us to receive Ex-New Agers, and how it is truly a biblical command of Jesus to cast out demons, while also giving caution to what we perceive as deliverance mania in the body that gets into a false doctrine of CONSTANTLY needing it 2) Talk about the “can a Christian have a demon” debate 3) Discuss how we see in the Bible that is contingent on our agreement and faith under God’s sovereign decision to impart free will — from our ability to “have” a demon, to ability to walk in freedom of Christ’s finished work on the cross 4) Focus on what we see as the most crucial part of our walk with the Lord: MIND RENEWAL… Truly studying and believing every word of the Bible and receiving Jesus’ atonement on the cross 6) Explain why we need claim the identity Christ has given us as SAINTS, not sinners... We speak to the identity crisis in the body of Christ. and how identifying as a sinner gives us the excuse to continue sinning, when Scripture does in fact call us to holiness 7) Dismantle lukewarm Christianity, by asserting our responsibility to simply embody what the Word of God says This is a long, loaded episode for sure, and it’s a lot to digest — but we pray this fellowship would be fruitful and edifying for our brothers and sisters.
