Nohema Graber was a Spanish teacher in Fairfield Iowa and was described by friends and family to be warm and loving. She wrote in her journal how she made it a point to smile at all of her students because smiling is contagious and she wanted to spread more joy and love in the world. Not only was she kind and loving, she also had big dreams for all of her students and would challenge them to strive for more and work hard. But when Willard Miller was given a bad grade by Nohema that led his gpa to drop, he took the grade personal. And over the next few months 16-year old Willard Miller and his friend 16-year old Jermey Goodall began to stalk Nohema and keep track of her every move, what car she drove, where she lived etc. In order to plot a seamless plan to murder their teacher over a bad grade.
