How do our voices get louder?

American Public Media
About this episode

Not only can people make all kinds of sounds with our voices, we can make those sounds loud or soft depending on what we’re doing. When we’re out on the playground, we can YELL TO A FRIEND, but in the library, we whisper quietly. How do we change our vocal volume? We asked voice teacher Kristy Bissell to help us find the answer.
