In this second part of Jan’s story, she continues to share about the grooming and sexual abuse she and her parents experienced at the hands of a neighbor. All that she’s done to heal since the abuse ended - which includes a book, a Netflix documentary entitled Abducted in Plain Sight, Peacock's scripted series called A Friend of the Family, her non-profit, podcast, and more - are beautiful examples of resiliency and strength. Thus, we are so grateful she joined us today to share all that came next for her as a survivor and parent.
