As I made my way through the prison, I tried to ignore the inmates calling out to me.
“Hey, come over here.”
“Hey, what’s your name?”
“Got a cigarette, mate?”
I made sure I didn’t make eye contact with any of them. It was a scary place to be, so I got through there as quickly as possible.
I cleaned up the prison, mopped the floors and emptied all the trash cans. Finally it was time to go home. The minute I walked into my house I ripped the moustache off my face and jumped into the shower.
You’re probably wondering how I got into this peculiar situation aren’t you? Well let me start from the beginning. To where it all began.
When I was at school I was just your typical normal, boring schoolboy. I didn’t stand out in a crowd. In fact most people had no idea I even existed. I was fine with it being like that, I didn’t care if anyone knew who I was. But one day that all changed.
The day started off just like any other, but when we got to class I noticed there was a new girl sitting at one of the desks. As soon as I set eyes on her I fell for her. All of a sudden I wanted to be noticed. I didn’t want her to get snapped up by one of the other boys before I had a chance to ask her out.
