About this episode

Today we are joined by Dr. Sofia Chaudhry, an associate professor of dermatology at Saint Louis School of Medicine. Dr. Chaudhry is passionate about dermatologic presentations of rheumatologic diseases and community outreach. Motivated by this passion, Dr. Chaudhry was a driving force behind the creation of SPOTS (Sun Protection Outreach Teaching by Students), an educational initiative targeted at sharing sun protection information with school-aged children. In this episode, Dr. Chaudhry shares with us the story behind how SPOTS was founded, ways for medical students to be involved with the program, and shares insight into the dermatology residency at SLU.
