About this episode

Welcome to the first episode for our Liver Series! In this episode, we’ll be discussing Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH), a chronic liver disease caused by the body’s immune system attacking the liver. We will go over the symptoms that can include fatigue, jaundice, dark urine and nausea to name a few.

Dr. Niket Sonpal will talk about the diagnostic process and the different types of treatments that you can offer your patients. With early diagnosis and treatment, most people with AIH can live normal, healthy lives.
