Festival Sakifo: Jako Maron, roi de l’él...

Déflagration de décibels avec le compositeur d’avant-garde, mais aussi DJ réunionnais, Jako Maron. Le pionnier de l’électro-maloya de l’île de l’océan indien est en concert ce dimanche (4 juin) au festival Sakifo. Avec son groupe Kabar Jako et ses fidèles machines, cet autodidacte qui mélange synthétiseurs et blues hérité des esclaves des plantations de canne à sucre pousse plus loin l’expérimentation et sa vision futuriste des musiques traditionnelles locales. Auteur d’une dizaine d’albums, il cultive l’indépendance et la liberté de sa révolution musicale hybride à coups de kicks puissants et mélodies transcendantales taillés pour le dancefloor qui l’ont propulsé sur la scène mondiale.
