Sereen Qader
About this episode

EP26. In this episode, host Sereen (@sereenqader) joins her sister, Yasmine (@palilovergirl) who featured in journal hijabi's first guest episode, "The Only Hijabi In The Room." They dive deep into the conversation of continuing your hijab journey after choosing to let it go, intersectionality of the hijab, deep divine fem womb(an), preserving your hijab crown energy, standing confident + much much more!

Yasmine’s Deep Divine Fem: (@deepdivinefem) is a collective curated by Yasmine Qader to nurture the inner womb(an) which originated from her journal to an instagram page and monthly sister circles in Austin, Texas where you are allowed to vulnerable and share your experiences. Follow @deepdivinefem to get involved!

The term intersectionality was originally coined by scholar, Kimberle Williams Crenshaw in 1989: the oppression and discrimination resulting from the overlap of an individuals various social identities.
