Bertrand Gachot: The truth about jail, J...

Whisper
About this episode

In 1991, F1 driver Bertrand Gachot was sent to prison following a road rage incident with a London taxi driver. The events sparked a bitter feud between him and his team boss and manager Eddie Jordan, who Gachot believed used his conviction to get out of their contract together. It also led to the F1 debut of Michael Schumacher, who took Gachot’s seat for Jordan at the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix.

For the first time, Bertrand and Eddie are reunited to relive the incredible story with David Coulthard hoping to keep the peace.

Listen to Grace Gachot’s song ‘F***boy Tragedy’ and pre-save her forthcoming single ‘Loca Por Ti!’ which is released on 9th June.
