The movie we breakdown in episode 4 is, "Call Me by Your Name". This movie gives the audience the pleasure of watching two people fall in love in the beautiful setting of 1983 Northern Italy. It is adapted from the book by the same name and won an Oscar for the screenplay. Listen as we discuss the importance of family acceptance,grief, sexual identity and the trials and tribulations of being a 17 year old in love. We also explore family dynamics and the precarious balance of letting a child have just enough room to experiment while also being able to be safe at the same time.
