Many people worry no longer dieting will lead to health concerns that require medications. This idea is a MAJOR roadblock to progressing in your Intuitive Eating work. How do you stop letting this common fear hold you back from becoming an Intuitive Eater? In this episode Melissa talks to fellow Dietitian Kristie Messerli about why even the IDEA of going on medication comes with so much guilt, fear, and shame and how to get past it.

As a Certified Diabetes Educator, Kristie shares how to use informed decision making when it comes to deciding (with your doctor!) how medication might fit into your health care plan.

Though these examples center on Kristie’s experience with diabetes medication, this episode is a must-listen for anyone trying to understand more about Health at Every Size and how the philosophy considers medication as a tool for health. We discuss:
