De los poco más de seis millones de habitantes en El Salvador, solo uno de cada diez personas hace pagos digitales a comercios, según un informe anual que publica el Banco Mundial. Pero el presidente Nayib Bukele impuso en 2021 el bitcoin como moneda oficial y hoy solo el 15% de los negocios usa bitcoin. Lo cuenta, tras visitar El Salvador, David Marcial, de El País México.
