Mental Health Series: Generalized Anxiet...

MEDGEEKS
About this episode

Our next topic in the Mental Health Series is Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). We all have anxiety in our daily life such as sitting in traffic or getting an assignment done in school or at work. It is when that anxiety is so great that it is debilitating for that person.

GAD is one of the most common mental disorders in the community and clinical setting. In which we will go over the symptoms such as restlessness and irritability. Next, we will explore the risk factors and then the treatment options like therapy and/or medication.

Join Dr. Niket Sonpal as he helps us better understand this disorder.
