In the fall of 1967—at the height of Point Pleasant, West Virginia's notorious Mothman flap—a family heading for a get-together in the titular town bore witness to what seemed to be a pair of bizarre beings who performed inhuman feats that not only defied rational explanation, but may also offer a heretofore unexplored explanation as to the origin of the infamous entity.
