Episode 727 - Holding on

arseblog.com
About this episode

In this week's show I chat first to Tim Stillman about a difficult week for Arsenal Women, compounded by what seems to be a serious injury for Leah Williamson. We discuss the prevalence of these injuries in the women's game, and where it leaves the season with two huge Champions League semi-finals to come.

Then it's Lewis Ambrose as we prepare to face Southampton on Friday night. We chat about the week of punditry and narrative, bottling and cockiness and all that, and examine what might be better reasons for the points we've dropped of late. We talk about the way the team misses William Saliba and discuss Rob Holding's role – all in the context of a title chasing season and the team we're fighting against. All that and much more.
