Los vikingos eran comerciantes, agricultores o guerreros marinos originarios de los países nórdicos que vivieron durante la Edad Vikinga, que duró aproximadamente desde el año 800 d. C. al 1050 d. C., era una población intrépida que se embarcó en expediciones a otras partes de Europa e incluso más lejos con el objeto principal de comerciar y establecer nuevos asentamientos, pero también para saquear los territorios que conquistaban.

Durante 250 años, los vikingos fueron protagonistas de la historia de Inglaterra, les relataré los acontecimientos que llevaron a los vikingos a ocupar el trono de Inglaterra.
