as i began to go on this journey of healing my internalized sexualization, things that were once okay with me were no longer okay. i found authentic boundaries and discomforts that were never known or established: i found out i'm no longer comfortable with sexual poses or booty bikini pics online. that i'm not comfortable with dresses that are too short, or my butt showing at all in shorts. little boundaries that were never established because as a child, "sexiness" was placed onto me. and perhaps most importantly, i learned to lead with my personality and essence in my interactions with others, instead of my sex appeal.
