INSIDE The Lab That Tests Elevator Free-...

The B1M
About this episode

This week we’re talking about the time Fred was sent down the world's deepest elevator test shaft... and it's not in an obvious location. This episode is FULL of amazing factoids. Learn how KONE's systems move over a billion people every day - http://bit.ly/40i5w3B

Later in the show, we talk about Dubai's International Finance Centre (DIFC) starting construction on its first residential buildings - designed by LWK + Partners, the project has split opinion on the internet. Lastly, the BBC’s new headquarters in Birmingham are set to be located in a former Typhoo tea factory. Designed by Glenn Howells Architects, the project will see much of the historic structure’s shell retained with its interior fitted out to include offices, studios and editing suites for the broadcaster - is this a gamechanger for Birmingham?

We end the show with two awesome Apple Podcasts reviews from "N. Nathan" and "PMT007" ... oh, and we go over an email from the legendary Clark Fuchs.

P.S. don't forget about our Buildots live event on 29 March!
