In this episode, David shares how critically-acclaimed KIMBERLY AKIMBO transformed from a play to a musical over 20 years.  He talks about growing up on the South side of Boston, the women who continue to inspire many of his characters, and how he is driven to write the stories of connection and humor that he would want to see on stage.
