In this episode we will be discussing how to manage conflict professionally in Business English. We will cover a number of phrases to use when dealing with conflict in the professional sphere - in addition to a few techniques to help navigate some of the hardest conversations you may even have.

  1. "Let's take a step back and review the situation."
  2. "I understand your perspective, but have you considered this alternative?"
  3. "I think we need to find a solution that benefits everyone involved."
  4. "Can you help me understand why you feel this way?"
  5. "Let's brainstorm some possible solutions together."
  6. "I think it would be helpful to involve a neutral third party to mediate the situation."
  7. "Let's focus on finding a mutually agreeable solution."
  8. "I'm sorry for any misunderstandings and would like to find a way to move forward."
  9. "Let's try to keep our emotions in check and stay focused on the issue at hand."
  10. "I appreciate your input and would like to work together to find a resolution."
