Welcome back to another solo episode of The Art of Communication! Speaking from a personal experience, I have realized that learning how to read nonverbal communication is key to understanding other people’s true intentions and emotions. There’s so much that’s being said but is not expressed in words. More often than not, we don’t realize what’s actually being communicated to us because they only appear in the blink of an eye… or because we don’t just know how to read them.
What I’m going to discuss are practical tips to read nonverbal communication. Specifically, I will give you tips to understand micro-expressions, those split-second expressions that communicate our true intentions; list the rules of body language that help us understand the other person better; and share the connections between our tones and emotions.
Let’s listen to this episode and understand nonverbal communication better!
