Words

Christopher Lembke
About this episode

Are your words spreading high or low frequencies?

“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In terms of energy, words are expressed on one hand and received on the other. They hold an energetic frequency charged by our perception and intention. As we well know, we can use words to build up people or tear them down. We also know through such practices as hypnosis and Neuro-linguistic Practices (NLP) that we can influence and manipulate others subliminally and subconsciously. Such are the power of words that the target of manipulation may not even be aware that they are victims of it. Our only protection is to build up our boundaries, self-esteem, and realisation of self-worth. If we have build up resilience and healthy conditioning in our subconscious with active observance of our experiences, we are in control.

If words trigger us it is because we are holding and unhealed element within us of what we perceive as a treat in the words. The words of others are not our responsibility, but what we do with those words is. The Four Agreements says that we must “use our words impeccably”, and it really is our individual responsibility to balance authenticity with compassion in our words. It is our individual responsibility to know our intent and motivation for speaking the words we speak. Knowing the balance between what is going to help raise the frequency of others as opposed to lowering it requires keen intuition and discernment. Two people can also say exactly the same thing, but because they are unique individuals, the recipient will receive the words differently.

Balancing words is not something we do as a mental exercise, it comes from the heart. Trusting our hearts, even when our minds are screaming “STOP!” will allow us to deliver the right words at the right time for the person who the words are meant for, and it will be for their highest good.
